Our Little Samurai Karate Program specifically designed by Master Hidy Ochiai for children 4-7 years old is finally coming to our dojo in Virginia! Little Samurai has been running at our HQ in Vestal, NY for one year, and now it will be replacing our Little Pandas Program.
Little Samurai takes all of the elements of our “award-winning” Little Pandas Program and adds in activities from our Summer Camps, such as weapons training and Shodo (Japanese brush calligraphy).
Little Samurai runs throughout the year on a per session basis. Each session meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15 to 5:55 pm for approximately 8 weeks. You may choose to attend one class per week or both classes per week.
The next session will start April 9, 2024!
In an age-appropriate format and within a supportive and safe environment, it is the ideal setting for children to learn traditional martial arts and safety awareness. As part of their training, children will be introduced to Master Ochiai’s acclaimed Character Education Program, which emphasizes the strengthening of the mind/body connection.
